Student Emergency Financial Assistance (SEFA) (PAUSED)
Due to a high volume of requests and limited funding, we have had to pause the SEFA program for the Fall semester. Please reach out to the Basic Needs team at basic.needs@faroor.com or Patty at patty.mathison@faroor.com to meet with us to coordinate and find additional resources. We are so sorry for this inconvenience and will work with you to hopefully find a resolution.
The Student Emergency Financial Assistance Fund (SEFA) provides UNH undergraduate and graduate students unable to meet essential expenses due to a temporary or unexpected hardship with short-term financial assistance once per academic year. Please note that funding is currently limited due to high demand. We encourage you to schedule a time to meet with the Basic Needs team to discuss your options and connect you to additional resources. Contact us at basic.needs@faroor.com.
UNH Law students: To request SEFA, please email the Office of the Assistant Dean for Students at lauren.berger@law.faroor.com
